Neuer Teamangler bei Carplounge: Patrick Scupin! Ab sofort wird das deutsche Carplounge Team von Patrick Scupin unterstützt. Sicher kennt ihr Patrick aus den meisten Magazinen und unter anderem dem iBlog, in dem er regelmäßig berichtet. Patrick wird euch in Zukunft mit Berichten rund um seine Futterbootangelei, frischen Bildern und Videos von seinem RT4 in Aktion auf den laufenden halten. Wir freuen uns auf die Zusammenarbeit. Patrick zur Zusammenarbeit: „Futterboot? Sowas brauch ich nicht… Vor geschätzt einem Jahr wäre das definitiv meine knappe Antwort zu diesem Thema gewesen. Doch dann kam dieser Trip nach Frankreich. Es ging für ein verlängertes Wochenende an ein kommerzielles Gewässer, an dem Boote verboten sind. Einzig Futterboote waren gestattet. Auf Grund der wunderschönen Seerosenfelder, aber auch der Vegetation vor Ort, wie beispielsweise überhängenden Bäumen war an ein ausloten mit Rute und Marker nicht zu denken. Stillstand ist Rückschritt und so schaffte ich es, mir für diese Session von einem lieben Bekannten ein RT3 von CARPLOUNGE zu leihen. Ab nach Frankreich! Ich war etwas überrascht – nahezu selbsterklärend, durchdacht, angenehme wie leichte Steuerung sowie Bedienung, robust, einfach hochwertig. Zusammenfassend, meine Rigs kamen absolut punktgenau auf den entsprechenden Spots an und bescherten mir trotz eher schlechter Wetterbedingungen einige wunderschöne Fische. Erfolgreich aus Frankreich zurückgekehrt musste ich das gute Stück natürlich wieder seinem eigentlichen Besitzer zurückgeben, wenn auch etwas wehmütig… Auf einmal fiel mir rund herum auf – so ein Futterboot ist eigentlich gar kein technischer Schnickschnack, sondern ein wirkliches Hilfsmittel in vielen Situationen! Nicht nur in Frankreich, sondern auch bei einigen meiner heimischen Baggerseen. Hier und da schränken mich auch hier Verbote, wie Verwendung eines Bootes, tauchen oder schwimmen, ein. Auch kam mir der Gedanke, dass an einigen Spots meine geliebten „schnellen Nächte“ unter der Woche dadurch etwas bequemer werden würden. Es folgte ein Gedanken-Karussell. Ich beschäftigte mich mit dem Thema, holte Infos, aber auch Preise ein… schließlich kostet diese technische Anschaffung auch einiges an Geld. Nach Recherchen blieb ich mal wieder in Deutschland hängen, genauer noch bei CARPLOUNGE. Aus vielen Fragen von mir und schnellen, kompetenten Antworten der Firma CARPLOUNGE wuchs ein wirklich netter Kontakt heran. Im Herbst 2014 legte ich mir dann zu meinen vorhandenen iBoats (Schlauchbooten) ein RT4 zu und komplementierte damit meine eigene, multi-funktionelle Flotte. Neues Team-Mitglied im Team Carplounge: Tobias Pfliegel Ab sofort unterstützt Tobias Pfliegel das Carplounge Team. Tobias zählt europaweit zu den bekanntesten Großfischanglern und Autoren. Er ist nach über 10 Jähriger Arbeit bei Nash als Consultant seit Ende 2012 bei Fox International und seit 2014 bei Mainline Baits als Consultant beschäftigt und eines der Gesichter der Fox DVD Reihe ‘‘In Session with Fox‘‘. Tobias unterstützt uns ab sofort mit aktuellen Inhalten in Form von Videos, Bildern und Berichten sowie bei der Weiterentwicklung und dem Test bestehender und neuer Produkte. Krassester Zielfisch: Einen krassen Zielfisch habe ich eigentlich nicht. Da ich beruflich zur Zeit sehr eingespannt bin ist gerade eder Fisch ein Zielfisch für mich. Ansonsten sind alle Fische die entweder makellos oder besonders schön geschuppt sind, sind für mich “krasse Fische”. New Teammeber Jan Ulak: "I am back, or something in the way would be my reintroduction statement with Carplounge. Alex and I have known each other since mid-2000 and I have been consulting the company in the beginning of their setup already. But I'm not always the easiest consultant and at that time I was constantly criticizing the Carponizer baitboat that was produced in China and sold by Carplounge. The fact that electronics and water are not an easy combination is no secret to anglers but back then my Carponizer was more in repair at Krefeld than octually on the bank. The service was always excellent though and I received my boat back within short periods any time but the efforts involved and the recurring problems back then led me to a breakup with Carplounge. Looking back today that may have been a little premature because I am usually loyal and very honest with my partners - but I can not support products in that I do not believe. Therefore the partly separation from Carplounge which never became a full seperation due to the fact that I held contact with Alex through my friend Philipp Braun who is also a consultant. I have always observed the development of Carplounge and their decision to stop the distribution of "Made-in-China" Carponizer baitboats in 2009 was a very good move I think. They started to produce the proprietary RT-Baitboat series entirely and exclusively with branded components in Krefeld. I realized through the joint fishing with Philipp that the quality of the boats was raising and raising and the technology was getting better and better. As the RT4 then came onto the market and Philipp and I were the first time back together on the bank, I really had to acknowledge that he had a really good bait boat! Especially the carbon body, the mega battery life, the battery lights and the total renunciation of mechanics have really impressed me. I was excited about the longevity and can say that Philipp's RT4 has kept doing the job for several years, still running smoothly today. Alex and I startet chatting again in the summer of 2015 and it quickly became clear to me that the RT4 should be my new baitboat. New Team Member: Laurent ***France Below*** Originally from northern France, I fish since a very early age. I started fishing the canal and some small lakes. After experiencing some troubles with lady carp on several occasions, I wanted to know what was that fish that seemed so powerful to me. It was then that I started fishing the carp in my region. This period remains exceptional for me in terms of the discovery of this type of fishing and what makes someone become so passionate about it. This experience actually pushed me to go fishing in other regions and the story took a whole new turn. During each trip I learned a lot being close to the water from a technical perspective as well as from a human perspective. Since last year I joined Carplounge Tackle. I have been using the RT4 for a number of years now and can honestly say it’s the best boat on the market that I have used, and trust me I have used a few! I have to put my hand up and admit I am a bit of a gadget man and see nothing wrong in using technology to aid my angling. The biggest draw for me to the RT4 is how it utilises the most modern technologies and also has a vast range of add-ons to enhance the boats set up. Initially it can be daunting choosing which flavour of boat to go for but there are a number of instructional videos on the CarpLounge website that will aid your decision. My preference is for the ultra quiet motors (due to the fact I tend to fish smaller, shallower venues), Lowrance echo unit, Scorpion camera system and the amazing bait spirals. This combination allows me tackle any venue with complete confidence. Utilising cutting edge electronics and superb engineering, the RT4 is a joy to use. What makes it even cooler are the myriad of auxiliary items that can be added on to bespoke your boat. One such item I have been playing around with is the Scorpion Camera System. This unit transmits a live video feed from the boat to your screen ashore. The camera is positionable allowing you to see above and below the waves. If you fish shallow, gin clear, weedy waters - then this bit of equipment is a revelation. You can see down to depths of 10ft/3m (ambient light dependant) and locate the clear spots in the weed to place a rig. There are numerous applications with this bit of kit, agreed it won't suit everyones style of fishing BUT if you want to take some of the guess work out of your short sessions and increase your catch rate by fishing effectively with your time - then check this baby out.“ It's nesting season here at the lake and there is a very angry, territorial Swan terrorising the lake. He keeps attacking Baitboats as soon as they set sail and has already done an aerial on one of the guys boats this weekend!!! 󾆐 I recently sent my boat back to CarpLounge to have a motor upgrade. The boat can be bought with 3 different motors. The one I upgraded to is the * Graupner Brushless HPD Powermotor with Hi-End ESC. This is designed for guy's fishing big inland seas or large rivers where powers needed. It is 50% faster than the standard motor. Using it today I have found two things out. It's very windy at the moment and all the other boats on the water have been struggling to fight the waves and wind, not so with my souped up boat. It is really that much of a difference. And the second thing that has impressed me is the swan has come in at the boat, but has held off having a go because of the overall speed and size of it! And then when it does decide to give chase, it can't keep up with it and gives up after a few seconds! An unexpected win for me.
