PROBLEMS WHEN LOGGING IN OR UNLOCKING?
Problems logging in or with activation? Our service team will be happy to support you as follows:
1) Make sure that you can log into your customer account, through which the upgrade was ordered and paid for, on our website: https://www.carplounge.de/account (or carplounge.co.uk/account for UK Customers)
2) Then write us an email to service@carplounge.de with the subject "Upgrade activation" and the following information:
- Email address of your webshop customer account
- Information on where the premium upgrade was purchased (webshop, dealer, by phone, on-site, trade fair ...)
- a photo or screenshot of your invoice or order confirmation in which the premium upgrade was purchased
3) As soon as our team has received this email with all of the above data, your purchased upgrade will be manually assigned to your customer account and you will receive a confirmation by email.
4) You can now log into the Community Portal with your customer account and your premium upgrade will be installed and activated immediately.
YOU DON’T HAVE A CARPLOUNGE CUSTOMER ACCOUNT YET ?
Customers who have ordered via a licensed dealer or on site / by telephone and therefore do not have a web shop account must be assigned manually by our service staff:
1) Create a customer account on our website: https://www.carplounge.de/account (or carplounge.co.uk/account for UK customers)
2) To prepare the manual activation process, install the latest V4 APP version from the Playstore and log in once with your customer account (email address and password)
3) Then write us an email to service@carplounge.de with the subject "Upgrade activation" and the following information:
-Email address of your web shop customer account
-Information about where the premium upgrade was purchased (dealer, by phone, on-site, trade fair ...)
-a photo or screenshot of your invoice or order confirmation in which the premium upgrade was purchased
4) As soon as our team has received this email with all of the above data, your purchased upgrade will be manually assigned to your customer account the next working day and you will receive a confirmation email.
5) You can now log into the Community Portal with your customer account and your premium upgrade will be installed and activated immediately.
INSTALLING THE UPGRADE ON A NEW / DIFFERENT DEVICE?
Premium upgrades can only be activated on one device. As soon as an upgrade has been activated / installed, it cannot be activated / installed on other devices for security reasons.
Do you have a new / different device on which an upgrade that has already been activated should be activated? Our service team will be happy to support you as follows:
1) Write us an email to service@carplounge.de with the subject "Upgrade device change" and the following information:
-Email address of your web shop customer account
-Information from when we should remove the assignment from the originally activated device (immediately or at a specific date / time)
2) As soon as our team has received this email with all of the above data, your premium upgrade will be decoupled from the current device at the desired time and will then no longer be available in the old device.
3) The upgrade can now be activated on the new device: Log into your customer account in the Community Portal and the premium upgrade will be installed and activated automatically.
- The allocation and activation of paid premium upgrades takes place via the email address that is stored in the customer account information on our website, so you always need to use the web shop customer account with which you log in to our website https://www.carplounge.de/account.
- Premium upgrades can only be activated on one device at a time. As soon as an upgrade has been activated / installed, it cannot be activated / installed on other devices for security reasons.
